These little joys don’t shed, but they do require daily grooming. The Shih Tzu, also known as the “lion dog,” makes for a great family dog. They are very friendly and get along well with all creatures (even children)!

In fact, don’t put it pass them to bark at every passerby, kitty cat, or dog it sees through your window, where they’d sit for hours, by the way. Miniature Schnauzers enjoy the company of little children and make for excellent family pets.
